The Campaign for Georgia Tech

For it’s largest fundraising goal to date, Georgia Tech sought a campaign that would inspire transformative philanthropy from donors for years to come.

An institution powered by innovation but rooted in tradition, we would need to move the Tech community, out of its comfort levels while delivering a campaign that was still distinctly Georgia Tech.

Creative Director of Campaign Branding, Website, Videos & Photo, and Campus Launch Event.

The “Transforming Tomorrow” campaign centered its content around the students, faculty, and administrators that comprise the Georgia Tech ecosystem.

The Campaign | Year 1

The Transforming Tomorrow Website is designed to sustain a multi-year campaign. Our custom site served as the platform for the launch event registration, communications and live stream. Dedicated pages for campaign themes explain the goals set forth by the university. Colleges and unit pages promote their individualized initiatives tied to the campaigns overall mission . And the Experience page highlights the launch event to stoke excitement for the upcoming local events.

Social Content & Strategy Development meant the design of templates for social content partnered with a posting strategy and calendar across all schools, delivering a seamless university-wide communications channel.

The Videos

Centering the voice of those most benefited by the interdisciplinary environment at Georgia Tech, we spoke to scholarship recipients, advisors and deans to show how the university’s mission to improve the human condition is woven throughout all its components.

The Launch Event

A Friday donor event and Saturday open house featured student-led activations designed to show the expansive impact of donor gifts.

Home to nation's largest entrepreneurial incubator, we invited CREATE-X students to present their groundbreaking products in a series of elevator-pitch presentations.

Robotics and engineering students wowed the room with their progressive solutions to contemporary challenges in our Transformation Labs activation.

And across the venue, guests brought out their expertise in all things Georgia Tech, competing against each other on our gamified 40' LED Tech Trivia Wall.

For at-home donors, roaming hosts MC’ed the evening’s events in a multi-camera live stream.

At the midway point on the evening, attentions were shifte to a multi-person stage presentation bringing personal narratives to the campaign’s fundraising themes.

Transforming Tomorrow Speaker Experience

Conceived to create an emotional connection between the audience and the campaign goals, our Campaign Voice, comprised of students and faculty leaders, took the stage to share their personal experiences at Georgia Tech.

This culminated with words from Georgia Tech President Ángel Cabrera. Sharing his own personal story of academic and personal transformation, President Cabrera brought synthesis to the campaign messaging and five-year goals.
